How long have you been employed at New Charter Technologies?
Since August, 2021.
Why did you join New Charter Technologies?
I loved the idea of working at a technology startup and helping to build something from the ground up. It’s a lot of work, but it is so rewarding to know that everything I do has a direct impact on the future state of New Charter Technologies. The people here are also absolutely amazing.
What is the most interesting or favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is being able to work remote, enjoy work/life balance, and work for a company and with a leadership team that trusts me. The people and connections I have made in this role have also been incredible.
What are some cool projects you’ve seen our operating companies do with the New Charter Technologies’ partnership? Or what is the best project you’ve been a part of since you started at New Charter?
The best project I’ve been a part of is moving Operating Companies into our HR/Payroll system, UKG. It is a ton of work for everyone involved, but the satisfaction of finally getting each company to go live in UKG is amazing. Also, it’s so gratifying to know that the more Operating Companies we get set up in UKG, the more data we have, which helps us to function better as a company and allows us to look more clearly to the future of where we are going.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is being able to help people. It is the best feeling when I can help someone with something they have been struggling with or being able to help find a new/easier way to complete a task/project.
When you think of New Charter Technologies culture, what 3 words come to mind?
People, collaboration, and innovation.
What are your hobbies outside of New Charter Technologies?
Shopping, home décor, being a mom to 2 boys.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.
I actually went to school for retail and fashion and was a bridal consultant for a couple years before finding my love for Human Resources and People Operations.
