At New Charter, we could tell you our people are our greatest asset, but every company says that. Instead, we’ll just show you.

It’s not just something we say. We truly hire top talent and build trust through shared values, and that’s what drives us forward.

We believe in investing in our people first. When we do that, it shows. From how we collaborate, how we execute, and the level of service we bring to this ever-evolving industry.

So, who are the faces behind all this momentum?

Meet Pattie Kruse, our Operations Administrator at NetSource One, a New Charter company.

NetSource One is an indepently operated member of the New Charter network.

How long have you been part of the NetSource One team?

I joined the NetSource One team in October 2012, so I’ve been here for almost 14 years!

What is a part of your role that people outside operations might not realize goes into keeping things running smoothly?

A big part of my role is knowing and understanding the different roles across the company. That helps me connect the dots, answer questions, and make sure issues get directed to the right person or team. There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes knowledge that goes into helping everything run smoothly.

What is something about NetSource One’s approach to its people and culture that you think sets it apart?

The family environment sets NetSource One apart. There’s a genuine sense of caring for both our employees and our clients. People want to see each other succeed and are always willing to step in and help when needed.

What is your go-to comfort activity after a long week?

Anything that lets me slow down and work with my hands! I have around 30 houseplants that I enjoy taking care of, along with planted aquariums, and I also love to crotchet.

If you could have any superpower for one day, what would you pick and what would you do with it?

I’d pick teleportation! I’d spend the day travelling anywhere I wanted without airports, traffic, or travel time. I’d try to fit in as many places as possible before the day was over.

If you could give your first-week-at-NetSource-One self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Don’t stress listen, ask questions, and learn from everyone around you. The more you understand about the people, their roles, and how everything works together, the better equipped you’ll be to help others.

Tell us about a small win from this past week it can be work or personal!

We recently kicked off our SOC 2 audit, and we’re already about a month ahead of the deadline for uploading our documentation. It feels great to start such a big project ahead of schedule!
