At New Charter Technologies, our people are the real power behind everything we do.

We don’t just talk about building a great team, we live it. By hiring top talent and building trust through shared values, we move forward together.

We believe in investing in people first. When we do that, the results speak for themselves: a collaborative culture, unmatched execution, and a level of service that’s truly changing the game in our industry.

So, who are the faces behind all this forward momentum? Glad you asked.

Keep reading to meet one of the incredible folks who makes New Charter what it is.

How long have you been part of the New Charter community?

3 years and 5 months

Why did you decide to join ActiveCo?

When I applied it seemed like a good fit for my skills. But what really sold me was the interview process. It felt like a group of people I’d genuinely enjoy working with every day.

What’s the most interesting or favorite part of your role?

I love taking a difficult problem and building a solution that people will use every day. Knowing my work has a real impact on people is what keeps me motivated.

What are some cool things you’ve seen ActiveCo accomplish as part of the broader New Charter organization?

I’m really proud of the work we did on Boost. The fact that we created such a complex software from scratch proves that our small team has the talent to punch above our weight.

We are not afraid to innovate and solve big problems on our own. I am excited to bring that same creative energy into Managed Application Services for our customers.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

I love building things that people rely on to do their jobs. It is incredibly rewarding to take a mess of a problem and transform it into a solution that saves someone time and energy.

When you think about the culture across ActiveCo / New Charter, what three words come to mind?

Innovative, Collaborative, Supportive

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Cooking, learning about new tech, and watching movies so bad that they are actually good.

Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.

My career in software was born out of a moment of pure laziness. I didn’t want to manually move the cameras at my old casino surveillance job, so I wrote macros that moved the cameras for me. It turns out that trying to work smarter instead of harder was the best career move I could have made.
