At New Charter Technologies, our people are the real power behind everything we do.

We don’t just talk about building a great team, we live it. By hiring top talent and building trust through shared values, we move forward together.

We believe in investing in people first. When we do that, the results speak for themselves: a collaborative culture, unmatched execution, and a level of service that’s truly changing the game in our industry.

So, who are the faces behind all this forward momentum? Glad you asked.

Keep reading to meet one of the incredible folks who makes New Charter what it is.

How long have you been part of the New Charter community?

I have been with DCG for about 2.5 years.

Why did you decide to join DCG?

I was looking for a professional, well-established MSP that offered long term growth, strong mentorship, and opportunities to work on more advanced technical challenges. I wanted to move beyond entry level MSP tasks such as basic user account creation and password resets, and instead focus on deeper systems, cloud, and networking work.

DCG stood out as a place where I could expand my skill set by working hands on with servers, Intune, Microsoft 365, and more of the systems administration side of IT.

What’s the most interesting or favorite part of your role?

My favorite part of the role is working on complex, multi-tiered projects that require planning, problem solving, and coordination. I enjoy seeing a project through from initial design to implementation and handoff, especially when the final solution is stable, secure, and genuinely improves the client’s environment.

What are some cool things you’ve seen DCG accomplish as part of the broader New Charter organization?

One of the most impressive aspects of DCG is how proactive the organization is when it comes to innovation and protecting clients. When AI and large language models began gaining momentum, we were quickly prepared with a structured approach to help clients understand the benefits and risks.

This included rolling out Microsoft Copilot solutions, implementing sensitivity labels in Purview, configuring security groups, enabling encrypted email delivery, monitoring usage and results, and then enforcing appropriate protection policies.

Another strong example was our response to Google’s DKIM and DMARC enforcement changes. As soon as those changes were announced, DCG ensured clients were properly configured well ahead of the enforcement deadline. This proactive approach prevented mail flow interruptions and reinforced our commitment to reliability and security.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

I enjoy solving puzzles and complex problems, so the most rewarding part of my job is addressing real world challenges for clients. This often includes projects such as migrating organizations from on premises infrastructure to fully cloud based solutions, or moving environments from GoDaddy, Gmail, or on premises Exchange servers to Microsoft 365.

Helping clients improve security, visibility, and control through tools like conditional access policies is especially satisfying.

When you think about the culture across DCG / New Charter, what three words come to mind?

Dedication, accountability, and care.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through regular workouts and spending time reading, especially topics related to technology, history, and personal development.

Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.

I am an immigrant to the United States and came here when I was 12 years old. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I have had, and I earned my American citizenship by serving in the U.S. Army. That experience shaped my work ethic, sense of responsibility, and appreciation for teamwork.
